The Ivy at Ellis Preserve

Designed to host weddings, corporate events and other social occasions, The Ivy at Ellis Preserve is the premier venue in a “Town Center” development located in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.  The architectural design for the new facility provides 18,500 SF of event and support space to accommodate 300 guests and includes a 5,000 SF ballroom, a 3,500 SF second-floor cocktail and pre-function space with scenic views, a covered outdoor event space and beautiful garden settings.  Owned and operated by Finley Catering, The Ivy at Ellis Preserve provides a departure from the caterer’s other event venues by offering a modern barn-type structure with an eclectic interior that combines rustic, industrial and modern aesthetics. 

The design for the venue is a beautiful play of light and dark with a feast of texture in its sophisticated and rich interiors.  The ballroom features a board and batten barn-style interior contrasted with large scale modern chandeliers, a dramatically lit feature bar, dance floor, two-story windows, and dynamic lighting systems.  Other supporting spaces in The Ivy include a large and well-appointed Bridal Suite and groom’s rooms.
