Archer & Buchanan Proudly Supports the Work to Ride Program

ARCHER & BUCHANAN is proud to contribute to the Work to Ride Horsemanship, Equine Sports and Education Program at the Chamounix Equestrian Center in Philadelphia. Work to Ride (WTR), founded in 1994, is a community-based program aiding disadvantaged urban youth by providing a natural setting in which participants can develop discipline, responsibility and life skills—as well as confidence and self-esteem—through training, riding, and performing horse care and barn management chores. As if the positive impact made on the individual lives of participants is not testament enough to the success of the program, WTR additionally made history with the 1999 formation of the first African-American Polo team in the country which has since gone on to win numerous national championships. Often acclaimed in the media, the WTR program most recently was featured on a segment of the Today show.

Honored to assist WTR in achieving their goals for expanded programming, Archer & Buchanan is supporting WTR in their fundraising campaign through the development of designs for the renovation of their existing stables along with a new indoor equestrian arena.
